Special Screenings in the Past?

 These posters were for special test screenings before adventure time was picked up. I don't know much about them, there was just a short post about it on the federator blog for adventure time a while back. So supposedly there were just sneak screenings for the show before it came out. It also had an art show before it debuted and and series of special edition t-shirts only available online.

AT Crew

Here's some of the most well know AT crew via online interaction, once again it's found fan art. Can you guess who they are? Just high-lite below.
In the center is Pen Ward. On the computer is Natasha Allegri with her cat Pancake. On the floor is Phil Rynda, with his famous Phil face, he isn't on the crew no more, but is remember well. Facing the sun is Adam Muto and with the board is Rebecca Sugar.

Some fan art online I found of Finn and Jake playing against Fionna and Cake. I wonder if they met they'd have a misunderstanding hero battle like Generator Rex and Ben 10 and every other hero ever

Someone Else Who Should Do Adventure Time Comics:Coleman Engle

As the Adventure Time Comics line approaches from Boom with a writer I'm not sure who should be doing it and artists I've not heard of, who will most likely make the art the look boring and rigid, when the roots of the most of the designers on the show are totally indie, I'll be suggesting other artists.

Reported by CA , Coleman Engle did a nice piece on the genderbender cast of Adventure Time. He's been doing indie comis for some time and seems like a much better choice then the current people on the title.

Even though it hasn't come out yet, I'd like to have at least seen some art from the comic from the artists involved, but they don't seem to have blogs or anything, not the best sign. I'll be suggesting more artists you can check out and e-mail boom about.

Fionna and Cake

If your a new fan to Adventure Time you might not know about the fine Fionna or her feline companion Cake. They're girl versions of Finn and Jake created by Natasha Allegri a crew member on the show.  She created them just for fun.

This might be there earliest appearance online.

Cake and Fionna are in the gender bending universe of Adventure Time where everyone's gender has switched. So if your a boy like Finn you'll be a girl like Fionna in the other universe.

 Cake being a cat is being the reverse of Jake being a dog. In both universes the duos are heroes. Fionna is a tomboy and Cake is somewhat motherly. The voice actors for the characters are Madeleine Martin as Fionna, Roz Ryan as Cake, Grey DeLisle as the Ice Queen and Neil Patrick Harris as Prince Gumball.

 In the genderswapped Ooo Princess Bubblegum, is Prince Bubblegum and Ice King is the Ice Queen. Don't forget abot Lord Monochrome a male version of Lady Rainicorn. "Fionna and Cake" is the episode you've seen of them and take place in the 3rd Season. It also changes the opening to look like Cake and Fionna's gender swapped Ooo.

 Another popular character is Marshal Lee the male counterpart to Marceline, though he didn't speak a word in the episode fans love him. He supposedly will have line in the next Fionna and Cake episode, schedule for the 4 season of the show.

 Rebecca Sugar wrote a bit about the episode, too.

" I fought for Marshall Lee( male version of Marceline)- I wrote him lines but they were cut for time! I practically begged Pen to let me work overtime to put him back in the episode, even in some small way. I wanted him to be voiced by Dante Basco"

" Adam and I really worked to make this one special. We changed it a lot, the outline actually had no Ice Queen in it at all! No ball, no crystal sword… act two used to be a date in a restaurant! We both knew we wanted more fighting, and if there had to be a date, it would be a date with swords and skulls and fighting!"

 Fan art of Fionna and Cake has been numerous from paintings, sculptures and cakes. Yes, cakes of Cake.

 Not to mention cosplay.

Adventure Time Cereal!

Frosted Adventure O's look so good, sadly will never know if they taste good. This is only a design students final projectfor some class. I'd buy it if it were real. Frankly, I don't know why there isn't more food related Adventure Time items in stores. Frosted by the Ice Queen, seems like a special edtion with the gender bending Adventure Time Crew
