Matthew Broderick The Dream Warrior

Mathew Broderick's son likes AT so much he dressed like Finn for Halloween, I guess the news got around or Matt asked AT to do a voice for the show so his son could tour CN or something. Anyway MB is The Dream Warrior and  a car salesman for next's weeks AT. See it Monday Sep 3.

pr snippet:
Celebrated actor Matthew Broderick (Tower Heist, Bee Movie, FerrisBueller’s Day Off) will play “The Dream Warrior,”a new character to be featured in an upcoming episode of Cartoon Network’s hit animated series Adventure Time, the network announced today. The special episode,“Who Would Win,” is slated to premiere on Monday, September 3 at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network.
Broderick’s character, The Dream Warrior, is a used car salesman summoned by series protagonists Finn and Jake in a shared, extraordinary dream to offer advice on defeating a substantial rival. “I heard about Adventure Time because my son, James, loves it,” says Broderick of the Cartoon Network series, “I like that it doesn’ttalk down to anybody.”

Oootopia You May Have Missed

What's that behind her head? A poster from Adventure Time! TTDILA made some and put them up to excite fans before entering.

Did anyone pick up the crayons I hid in the gallery? If you remember, I made some Marceline drained red Candy Kingdom crayons and put them all over the place opening night.

If you doodled in the book their made for doodling you could have got one.

Props to Nucleus again, for naming the pinches after Marceline and PB.

Oootopia: An Artgebraic Tribute to Adventure Time Opening Night 2

Fans really made Oootopia: An Artgebraic Tribute to Adventure Time opening a bombastic blast of success juice. With a line around the block to get in, the fans came out in full force to impale themselves upon the walls on Gallery Nucleus. If they were house paint, they would have turned Nucleus a new color.

Check out the new video below showcasing them and the costume contest.

Here's some of the best cosplayers of the night, they really took the extra time to show their support for the show, which we can all agree is more beloved than Regular Show, which has no art shows.

Oootopia: An Artgebraic Tribute to Adventure Time Opening Night 1

Oootopia's opening was overly ecstatic with fans, artist and fun. Pieces drenched the walls of Nucleus from a large contingent of artists, some from the show, some from regions unknown.

You can check out all the pieces at Nucleus here

Truly the night was only at it's best because of the fans who dressed up and the artists who doodled all over them. Yes, crew from the show and some of the comic book artists came down to sign swords and backpacks and all things adventerous. Artists like Andy Ristaino, Rebecca Sugar, Ian Quarterly, Michelles Xin, David C Smith and Cole Sanchez were drawing on everyone and everything.

The art was a splendid mix of the strange thoughts some people get while watching the show. Of course I love the real crews works the most, but the felt stuff was the best. Who doesn't love a hanging Marceline?

Fans really showed their love by their singing, dancing and wanting of a trivia contest over just having a raffle for prizes.

The only things I ponder is why Pen didn't show, maybe he was just playing video games. What happened to the playable Adventure Time game? It's seems the game backed out or it wasn't finalized, well I guess see it in November.

Want to thank Ben from Nucleus for showing us in and have such great shows.

Here's some of my favorite pieces

                             Can you name them all?
I like the last one, because it got knocked down by a Prince Bubblegum cosplayer.
